Hello all you Friends!
Let the drooling of anticipation begin. . . we're less than five months from MDRF opening! WOOHOOO.
So let's start getting the FoMDRF house in order!
1) If you don't see your picture and/or answers to the 20 questions on your page listed at: www.friendsofmdrf.org/MEMBERS/bios.html
then one of the following has happened:
a) You never sent the photo/answers to me (questions to be answered are at: theblackfox.proboards27.com/index.cgi
b) You sent them repeatedly but to the wrong email - send to: blackfoxofde@gmail.com
c) I lost them both or one or the other
2) If you no longer want to be a member of our group, please email me at: blackfoxofde@gmail.com with the word "unsubscribe" in the subject line. This will automatically pull you from the database.
3) If you know someone who's thinking about becoming a member of FoMDRF.org, please send me their email addy and I'll send out a 'welcome' package of info.
4) Our new Pyrate Ship, The Polly Dodger has tons of open positions for folks with Privateer Guild pins. Even if you don't have one, you can join the crew as a deck hand! email either Chelle or myself for more info, or go to www.pollydodger.com
5) If you want a membership certificate/ID card, please email me and I'll have one ready for you by our Anniversary Party.. . .btw. . .keep Saturday June 25 open, as we have a special 1 year anniversary of FriendsofMDRF.org to be held at the PARF grounds during their Celtic Fling. If we can get 20 or more to RSVP, we can get a private area to hold our celebration! (more info on that to come in May)
6) We have 200 members (including the RESERVED places) at present and we're re-thinking the directorship positions. Lumpy, Sandman, Prax, NoirCyn, Myrddin, Magpie, Chelle, and myself will be meeting soon to discuss this idea. Although these folks make up the core of our Management, the meeting will be open to all members. . . again, more info to come.
7) Expect this kind of group email every month or even few weeks as MDRF2005 grows closer.
